Mary Roach has over 19 years of work experience in the energy and technology sectors. In 2020, they became the Co-Founder and COO of Boost Technology. From 2017-2020, they served as the Chief Operating Officer and Head of Global Partnerships at Loowatt Ltd. From 2015-2017, they were Program Manager at Ceniarth, a single-family office focused on funding scalable solutions to the world’s big challenges. From 2011-2015, they were Senior Programme Manager - M4D Utilities, Programme Ops Manager- Mobile Enabled Community Services, and Biz Dev Manager- Community Power from Mobile at GSMA. In 2010, they were Co-Director/Co-Founder at Les Lionnes and Project Manager at Signal Point Partners, where they advised and invested in companies in emerging markets. From 2008-2010, they were Overseas Staff -Energy + Governance & Rural Infrastructure at Engineers Without Borders Canada. From 2004-2008, they were Hydro Operations Program Manager and Project Management Leadership Program at GE Power & Water. In 2003, they were Project Manager at GE Hydro. From 2001-2003, they were Field Engineer at Schlumberger Oilfield Services.

Mary Roach obtained their Bachelor's degree in Chemical Engineering from McGill University between 1997 and 2001. Mary then went on to pursue a Master of Business Administration (MBA) from Saïd Business School, University of Oxford between 2009 and 2010. Additionally, they are certified as a 6 Sigma Green Belt.
