Jon Dorando

Jon Dorando currently serves as the Chief Technology Officer at Boosted.ai, where responsibilities include leading the technical vision and product strategy for the AI platform, Alfa. Notably, Jon expanded Alfa’s capabilities with finance-specific data integration and in-line citation features, significantly enhancing operational efficiency. Prior to Boosted.ai, Jon held the position of R&D Manager and Applied ML Scientist at Bloomberg, specializing in Machine Learning and Natural Language Processing. Jon began an academic career as a Graduate Research Assistant at Cornell University, focusing on derivatives and parallel programming techniques in quantum chemistry. Jon holds a PhD and Master's degree in Theoretical Chemistry from Cornell University and a Bachelor's degree in Chemical Physics from Carnegie Mellon University.
