Martin Roy

Martin Roy has over 17 years of experience in software development. Martin is currently working as a Senior Backend Developer at boostsecurity.io since November 2021. Prior to this, they worked at Trend Micro as a Senior Backend Developer from May 2019 to November 2021.

From 2007 to 2019, Martin worked at INAP as a Senior Software Developer. In this role, they created flexible and fully tested solutions in a micro-services environment using mainly Python and Docker. Martin also added features to the customer's portal and the internal ERP/CRM using PHP, Python, and pure Javascript. Additionally, they were the author of an internal javascript framework.

Before joining INAP, Martin worked at richard perreault immobilier from 2004 to 2007 as a Junior Software Developer. In this role, they managed a custom in-house CRM solution and a website using MS Access, ASP 3.0, C# 2.0, and SQL Server.

Martin Roy attended the Institut Descartes from 2001 to 2002, where they obtained an AEC (Attestation d'Études Collégiales) degree. Martin then pursued their education at UQAM | Université du Québec à Montréal from 2006 to 2008, studying Computer Software Engineering.
