Lead Instrument Engineer at Booth Welsh

David Rix has extensive work experience in the field of Instrument Engineering. David started their career in 1990 at M W Kellogg Limited, where they worked as a Senior Instrument Engineer until 2001. David then joined Jacobs as a Senior Instrument Engineer from 2001 to 2006. Following this, they worked at Wood Group PSN as a Senior Instrument Engineer from 2006 to 2009. David then returned to Jacobs and served as a Principal Instrument Engineer from 2009 to 2017. Currently, since 2017, they are employed at Booth Welsh as the Lead Instrument Engineer.

David Rix obtained an HND in Engineering with a focus on Computer and Control Systems from Coventry University, covering the period from 1988 to 1990. Prior to that, they attended Chichester High School from 1986 to 1988 and the John Colet School in Wendover from 1981 to 1986, where they completed their O Levels. Additionally, David Rix has obtained certifications such as the Level 5 Certificate in Leadership & Management from ILM in 2022, the Functional Safety Engineer certification from TÜV Rheinland Group in 2014, and the Explosive Atmosphere - Application Design Engineer Module EX12A/EX12B certification from CompEx® in September 2018.
