Jim Dillon is an accomplished Instrumentation and Control Engineer with extensive experience in hazardous areas, electrical control, and instrumentation design. Currently employed at Booth Welsh since November 2012, Jim specializes in functional safety, costing estimates, specification development, equipment evaluation, procurement, and control system design. Prior to this role, Jim worked at Grontmij from September 2007 to November 2012 as an Electrical & ICA Engineer, focusing on telemetry system design and commissioning, and at ID Systems from January 2002 to September 2007 as an Electrical Technician, where responsibilities included telemetry installations and electrical installations. Jim holds a BEng (Hons) in Electrical Power Engineering from Glasgow Caledonian University and completed an electrical apprenticeship at Reid Kerr College.
