Simon Free possesses extensive experience in management and strategic roles across the banking and education sectors. Currently serving as a Senior Manager at the Bank of Queensland since November 2018, Simon leads initiatives in portfolio deposits and consumer finance while providing insights into retail banking performance. Prior to this, Simon held the position of Head of Customer Engagement at ClassCoach and managed performance and productivity at Suncorp Group, successfully overseeing key projects and enhancing operational efficiency. Simon's early career includes roles as a Consultant at ANSN and Head of Department at the Department of Education and Training (Queensland), where leadership and curriculum development were pivotal. Academically, Simon holds an MBA from The University of Queensland and a Bachelor of Education from Griffith University.
