Harpreet S. has a diverse work experience in the field of cybersecurity. They currently work at Boral as a Cyber Defence Lead. Prior to that, they worked at News Corp Australia as a Principal Engineer, Cyber Defence and later as a Senior Specialist Cyber Security. In these roles, they were responsible for managing and enhancing SIEM, security event management, and cyber threat monitoring.

Before joining News Corp Australia, Harpreet worked at Optus as a Security Engineer/Analyst, where their main responsibilities involved creating and testing cyber threat use-cases in SIEM, security event and incident case management, governance, and vulnerability management.

They also have experience working at CSC as a Security Analyst and at BT Global Services as a Security Systems Engineer and Analyst. At BT Global Services, they provided support for security systems, including SIEM monitoring, firewall support, IPS tuning, and incident response.
