1990 yılında Türkiye’nin ilk özel ve en büyük ikinci yassı çelik üreticisi olarak kurulan Borçelik, faaliyetlerine 1994 yılında “soğuk haddelenmiș rulo sac” üretmek üzere bașlamıștır. Borçelik, 1994, 2003 ve 2008 yıllarında gerçekleștirdiği toplam 530 milyon USD seviyesindeki yatırımların ardından üretim kapasitesini 1,5 milyon tona yükseltmiștir. Üç soğuk haddeleme ve üç sıcak daldırma galvaniz hattına sahip olan Borçelik, 900 bin tonluk galvaniz kapasitesi ile Türkiye'nin en büyük ve en yüksek kaliteli galvanizli çelik üreticisi konumundadır. Dünyanın en büyük çelik üreticilerinden ArcelorMittal ve Borusan Holding ortaklığı ile çalıșmalarını sürdürmektedir. Borçelik’in yıllık toplam 1,5 milyon tonluk üretim kapasitesi; 600 bin ton soğuk haddelenmiș, 900 bin ton sıcak daldırma galvanizli çelikten olușmaktadır.

Founded in 1990 as the ﬁrst private and the second largest ﬂat steel manufacturer of Türkiye, Borçelik started its business operations in order to manufacture “cold-rolled steel rolls” in 1994. Following investments realized in the years 1994, 2003 and 2008 at a total investment cost of 530 million USD, Borçelik has increased its manufacturing capacity to 1.5 million tons, comprised of 600.000 tons of cold-rolled and 900.000 tons of hot dip galvanized steel. Having three cold-rolling and three hot dip galvanized steel lines, Borçelik is the biggest galvanized steel manufacturer of Türkiye offering the highest quality. Underlying the strong market position of our Company continuing its business operations as a partnership of Borusan Holding and ArcelorMittal, one of the largest steel manufacturers of the world.
