Michael Walling

Michael Walling has extensive experience in the performing arts, currently serving as a Visiting Professor at Rose Bruford College since 2010. As Artistic Director for Border Crossings since January 1995, Michael has focused on creating new intercultural, multi-media theatre that reflects the contemporary globalized landscape. Additionally, Michael has directed the Origins Festival of First Nations since January 1990, showcasing talent in theatre and opera as a freelance director. Previously, Michael held the position of Resident Director at English National Opera from 1998 to 2004. Michael's educational background includes studies at the University of Oxford and Hereford Cathedral School.
