Bob Wynn has worked in the information security field for over 20 years. In 2001, they were the Director of the Department of Information Security for the State of Georgia, where they managed a team of 25 direct reports and an additional 50 ISOs. Bob was also a member of the Georgia Cybercrime Taskforce. From 2005 to 2006, they were an Information Security Officer and Information Systems Auditor at Wells Fargo. During this time, they identified, evaluated, and documented threats to Wells Fargo's network, including both information and physical assets. Bob also conducted risk assessments using the ISO model on Wells Fargo data centers and key business partners. In 2006, they were an Information Security Architect at MSI Consulting. From 2016 to 2017, they were a Freelance Blogger at CYRANO, LLC. Currently, they are a Security Consultant at BorderHawk, LLC, where they are working on various PCI projects.
Bob Wynn obtained a Master's degree in Criminal Justice from Georgia State University between 1994 and 1996. Bob also attended Georgia State University without obtaining a degree. In 2015, they obtained a CISSP certification from (ISC)².
