Jay Harmon

Jay Harmon has worked in the information security field since 2006. In 2007, they became the Managing Partner at Liberty Management/RM Battle, where they provided strategic planning and technical guidance leveraging the value of Virtualization within production and QA environments. From 2008 to 2010, they worked at BorderHawk, LLC as both the Managing Director of Cyber/Information Risk/Security/Compliance and Audit Readiness Advisor and as an Information Risk, Security and Privacy Consultant. In 2011, they joined National Strategies, LLC as a Senior Consultant Manager. From 2014 to 2015, they worked at CynergisTek, Inc. as the Regional Director of Client Services for the Southeast and at IBM Consulting as a Contract HIPAA/Cyber Security/Privacy SME to Healthcare Delivery, Business Associates Pharma Clients. From 2015 to 2019, they were the Chief Information Security Officer at Vxtra Health. In 2021, they began working at LRHC as the VCISO, Rural, Critical Care Hospital.

Jay Harmon attended Amos P. Godby High from 1978 to 1981 and Tallahassee Community College from 1982 to 1983. Jay also obtained a Certified Information Security Manager (CISM) from ISACA in July 2020 and a PECB Certified ISO/IEC 27035 Lead Incident Manager from PECB North America in July 2018.
