David Garcia

David Garcia has had a long career in the technology and finance industries. David began their career in 2014 as Co-Founder/CEO of Qbien.com, where they were responsible for developing and executing the business plan, managing a multi-geographical team in four countries and forecasting regional expansion. David then joined BitPagos as SVP, where they were part of the executive team and led the corporate development for regional expansion and new businesses. In 2017, they became Managing Director of RCN and Partner of Crypto Assets Fund. The following year, they joined Emrit as an Advisor and Ripio as Partner and Board Member. In 2018, they became an Investor in Algorand, leading the investment in Algorand's $62m fundraising round and committing to growing the borderless economy powered by Algorand. In 2020, they became Partner of 11-11 DG Partners and Managing Partner of HNT Fund. Currently, they are CEO and Founding Managing Partner of Borderless Capital.

David Garcia completed The Bitcoin Course at Draper University in 2014, with a focus on Cryptocurrency & Bitcoin. David also obtained a Diplomatura Universitaria Senior in Marketing from Universidad Empresarial 'Siglo 21'\u200b in 2007-2008. Additionally, they were awarded the Certified Bitcoin Professional certification from the CryptoCurrency Certification Consortium in December 2014.
