Anssi Aarnio

Anssi Aarnio is a seasoned engineer with extensive experience in the plastics field, currently serving as a Senior Extrusion Engineer at Borealis since September 2022. Prior to this role, Anssi held positions at Premix Group, where responsibilities included leading the R&D team as a Senior Product Manager and overseeing the development of conductive plastic extrusion portfolios and masterbatches. Additionally, Anssi's experience encompasses serving as an R&D Manager, where the focus was on high-performance compound development. Anssi's earlier career at Ensto involved project management and product development of medium voltage cable accessories, specializing in heat shrink and cold shrink technologies. Anssi holds a Master’s Degree in Plastics, Chemistry, and Economics from Tampere University of Technology.
