Daniel Jocham

Daniel Jocham is an accomplished professional in process safety and production management with extensive experience in the polymer industry. Currently serving as Group Expert Process Safety at Borealis since January 2023, Daniel has previously held roles such as Performance Improvement Manager at MTMPlastics Borealis and SU Operations Manager at BAYSTAR™ / Bayport Polymers LLC, where responsibilities included managing operations for a significant polyethylene plant. Daniel's career at Borealis spans over a decade, during which key positions included Production Manager and Process Engineer, focusing on safety, quality, and production efficiency. Early in the career, Daniel contributed to research and development for melamine resins at Borealis Agrolinz Melamine GmbH. Daniel Jocham earned a Ph.D. in Organic Chemistry from Technische Universität Graz, completing the degree in 1999.
