Firas Dabbagh

Firas Dabbagh is currently a Dr. Senior Scientist in Process Simulation and Reaction Kinetics at Borealis, where they have been since 2022. They also serve as a Postdoctoral Researcher at Johannes Kepler Universität Linz since 2018. Previously, Firas worked as a CFD researcher and earned a Ph.D. in thermal turbulence at CTTC - UPC from 2011 to 2018. Prior to that, they were an Assistant Professor at Tishreen University, teaching Fluid Mechanics and Gas Dynamics from 2008 to 2010. Firas holds a Bachelor's degree in Mechanical Engineering from Tishreen University, where they graduated as the top student, and a Doctor of Education - EdD in thermal engineering from Universitat Politècnica de Catalunya, graduating Cum Laude.
