Ida Östergren

Ida Östergren is a Scientist at Borealis since December 2023, with extensive experience in the field of applied chemistry and polymer technology. Previously, Ida completed a PhD at Chalmers University of Technology, focusing on polymer-nanocomposites for 3D-printing of plasmonic hydrogen sensors. Additional notable roles include serving as an amanuensis at Chalmers tekniska högskola, a process operator at St1 Refinery AB, and a match hostess for IFK Göteborg. Ida also has experience in various positions such as a property worker, interviewer at Detector AB, ski instructor at Branäs ski resort, and seasonal worker at Weingut Peter Kropf. Educational qualifications include a Master’s degree in Materials Chemistry and a Bachelor's degree in Chemical Engineering from Chalmers University of Technology, alongside ski instructor certifications.
