Michael Schenk

Michael Schenk has a diverse work experience spanning multiple sectors. Michael began their career as a Treasury Analyst at UBS Group Treasury in Zürich, Switzerland, from April 1999 to December 2000. After that, they worked as Director Equity Research at UBS Investment Bank, where they conducted detailed studies on companies and made investment recommendations from January 2001 to May 2008. Following their tenure at UBS, Michael joined Borealis AG, where they held various roles such as Business Unit Controller for the Business Unit Wire & Cable, Head of Business Finance for the Business Group Polyolefins and Innotech, Head of Group Corporate Finance & IR - Group Treasury, and Director of Internal Audit & Risk Management. Michael is currently serving as the Vice President of Group Treasury at Borealis, a position they took on in January 2023. Overall, Michael has extensive experience in finance, auditing, risk management, and leadership roles.

Michael Schenk attended the University of Vienna from 1992 to 1998, where they obtained an MBA with a focus on International Business & Finance. In addition, they completed executive leadership trainings at IMD.
