Nora Vaarne

Nora Vaarne is a highly experienced professional currently serving as Senior Licensing Manager and Innovation Center Manager at Borealis since June 2014. In the role of Innovation Center Manager, Vaarne leads a team of 130 individuals, including scientists and engineers, and plays a key role in the Location Leadership Team for Borealis Finland. As Senior Licensing Manager, responsibilities include creating licensing strategies, evaluating and defining new technologies, leading negotiations, and coordinating cross-functional stakeholders. Vaarne has a substantial history with Borealis Polymers Oy, holding various positions from Product Manager to Research Manager, and has extensive academic qualifications, including an MBA in Strategic Marketing and a Ph.D. in Chemistry from the University of Helsinki.
