Peter Voortmans

Peter Voortmans has a extensive work experience starting in 1992 with Eurozak NV, where they served as the Plant Operations Manager until 1998. Peter then worked at Jemaco nv as the Plant Manager for a year. In 2000, they joined Borealis, where they held various roles including Technical Service and Market Develpment Manager, Marketing Manager, Applications Flexible Films, and General Sales Manager. From 2009 to 2012, they worked at Amcor Flexibles as the Group Procurement Director Film and Resins Europe and America, and later as the General Manager. In 2012, they became a Board Member of the Plastics and Cardboard Federation Belgium at FETRA. Peter then joined Wipak in 2017, serving as the Group Sourcing Director and later as the Regional Managing Director. Before their current role at Borealis as the Global Commercial Director, they worked at All4Labels - Global Packaging Group as the Chief Procurement Officer and Chief Development Officer.

Peter Voortmans has a degree in Business management with a focus on Finance, General from KU Leuven. Peter also attended the University of St.Gallen from 2014 to 2015 to study Business Administration, Management and Operations. Additionally, they obtained a degree in Business Management from IMD and pursued studies in Total Quality Management at CKZ Hasselt. Peter has a Master's Degree in Chemistry from Groep T - Internationale Hogeschool Leuven.
