Róbert Mikony

Róbert Mikony is an experienced procurement and contract management professional with a strong background in downstream procurement, project buying, and indirect purchasing across various industries, including oil and gas, pharmaceuticals, and aerospace. Currently serving as Project Procurement & Contract Manager at Borealis, Róbert previously held the position of Category Manager at MOL Group, overseeing significant procurement strategies and negotiations, including a Master Purchase Agreement with a leading global supplier. Róbert began his career at Slovnaft in various buyer roles, successfully managing complex CAPEX projects and implementing e-procurement solutions, and has also gained experience in research and project assistance in non-profit environments. Róbert Mikony holds a Master of Science in Political Science from Stockholm University and a Bachelor's degree in International Relations.
