Stefan Beck

Stefan Beck is a seasoned professional in project management and engineering, currently serving as the Head of the Investment Project Management Office at Borealis since April 2023, a leader in sustainable polyolefin solutions. Previously, Stefan held the position of Head of the Project Management Department at OMV from November 2019 to April 2023, contributing to an integrated oil and gas company. Stefan also managed ECM GmbH as Managing Director for a brief period in 2019 and led standard development in the APAC region at Covestro earlier that same year. Extensive experience includes serving as Managing Director at ILF Consulting Engineers and BORSIG GmbH, along with significant roles at Linde and thyssenkrupp, showcasing expertise in engineering and project management across various sectors. Stefan holds a Diplom Ingenieur in Chemical Process Engineering from Technische Hochschule Mannheim and completed a diploma thesis in Environmental Energy Engineering at the University of Maryland.
