Sunmi S.

Sunmi S. has a diverse work experience spanning from 2006 to 2022. Sunmi started their career as an Associate at Gerson Lehrman Group and then moved on to Samsung Electronics, where they worked as an International Assignment Specialist. At Samsung Electronics, they were responsible for managing the Global Mobility program and selecting potential assignees. Sunmi then joined Doosan as a Global Mobility Manager and later became a Talent Management Manager. In 2016, they joined BMW Financial Services as an HR Compensation & Benefits Manager before being promoted to Human Resources Manager. Since 2022, Sunmi has been working at Borealis as a People & Culture Director.

Sunmi S. attended Ewha Womans University from 2002 to 2007, where they earned a Bachelor of Science (BS) degree in English Language and Literature. Sunmi also obtained additional certifications, including a Certification in Interpretation and Translation from the Korean Academy of Translation Studies in 2019 and a Global Professional in Human Resources (GPHR) certification from the Society for Human Resource Management (SHRM) in December 2012.
