Thomas Arndt

Thomas Arndt is a seasoned professional in process safety and engineering with extensive experience in the chemical and industrial sectors. Since April 2011, Thomas has held various roles at Borealis, including Senior Group Expert Process Safety and Process Safety Group Expert, where responsibilities included leading HAZOP studies and specializing in immissionsschutzrecht and anlagensicherheit. Prior to this, Thomas worked as an Asset and Design Engineer at Maire Tecnimont, focusing on project engineering and process flow diagrams, and served as a Betriebsingenieur at VTA GmbH, where duties involved plant planning and commissioning. Academically, Thomas holds a Dipl.-Ing. (FH) in Verfahrens- und Energietechnik from Hochschule Anhalt and has obtained certifications in internal system auditing from TÜV AUSTRIA Akademie and education from Essenscia Belgian federation of the chemical industry and life sciences.
