Thomas Reutter has a diverse work experience spanning several industries. Thomas is currently serving as the Vice President of Product Asset Management and Supply Chain at Borealis since August 2021. Prior to this, they worked at Dow for four years, starting in 2017. At Dow, they held various roles including Senior Product Director and Product Director, where they were responsible for the profit and loss of Low Density Polyethylene and Wire and Cable in EMEA. Thomas also played a key role in developing the usage of renewable feedstocks and was a member of the sustainability counsel in EMEA. Thomas Reutter has also held positions as a Board Member at the Polyolefin Circular Economy Platform (PCEP) and the Polyolefin Group at PlasticsEurope. Additionally, they served on the Board of Directors at TDESA. Prior to joining Dow, Thomas Reutter worked at The Dow Chemical Company in different roles such as Product Director, Sales Director, Market Value Manager, Supply Chain Team Lead, and Supply Chain Improvement. Thomas Reutter started their career by founding T.R. Autoteileservice and also worked as a Certified Industrial Sales Representative at ASB Gruenland.

Thomas Reutter earned a Master's degree in Business Administration from The Martin Luther University of Halle-Wittenberg, where they studied from 2001 to 2007. In 2004 to 2005, they also attended Universidad de Salamanca, focusing on Business.
