Ben Kang

Ben (Taegyu) Kang is a seasoned engineering professional with extensive experience in thermal analysis and system optimization. Currently serving as the Global Thermal Team Lead at BorgWarner, Ben manages a global team of thermal engineers while standardizing simulation procedures. Previous roles include Sr. Thermal Analysis Engineer at BorgWarner, where collaboration with cross-functional teams enhanced e-motor performance, and Thermalhydraulic Engineer at Last Energy, focused on subsystem design using CFD and FEA simulations. Earlier experience includes positions as an Electromechanical Engineer at Syntegon and Fluidics Engineer at The Coca-Cola Company, where Ben contributed to advanced packaging systems and fluidics subsystems. Ben's foundational research experience at the Georgia Institute of Technology includes designing heat exchangers and studying advanced materials for energy applications.
