David Martínez

David Martínez, PMP, currently serves as the System Project Lead at BorgWarner since May 2023. Prior to this, David held the position of Electrical and Electronics Design PM at Akwel from June 2019 to May 2023 and was the Business Project Manager UK at K-LAGAN from July 2015 to June 2019, managing Tier 1 suppliers and collaborating across manufacturing and engineering teams. Earlier roles include Resident Product Engineer for LEAR Corporation at Jaguar Land Rover, where responsibilities spanned multiple facilities and focused on management and quality control. Additionally, David worked as a Project Engineer at Applus IDIADA, specializing in vehicle dynamics and testing, and gained early experience through internships at the University of Vigo and PSA Peugeot Citroën. David earned a degree in Telecommunication Engineering with a focus on Electronics from Universidade de Vigo between 2006 and 2012.
