David Sturza

David Sturza is an accomplished professional with extensive experience in economic development and investment. Currently serving as the Head of Global Economic Development at BorgWarner Inc., David manages relationships with government officials globally to promote favorable economic policies and foster partnerships in research and development. Previously, as a Foreign Direct Investment strategist at the Michigan Economic Development Corporation, David successfully generated over $300 million in new investments and created more than 1,200 jobs. As a co-founder of ReValue Waste, David focused on composting initiatives, while experience as Program Director at EcoVentures International involved providing economic development support to regions including Sub-Saharan Africa and the Caribbean. David's early career included impactful work with the United States Peace Corps. Educational credentials include a Master's in Public Policy from The Johns Hopkins University, a Graduate Certificate in International Development, and a Bachelor's in Economics from the University of Michigan.
