Gregory Simopoulos

Gregory Simopoulos is a seasoned engineering professional with extensive experience in power electronics and energy systems. Currently serving as a Staff Engineer in eHW Innovation at BorgWarner since December 2012, Gregory specializes in systems and eHW engineering, focusing on wireless vehicle charging, onboard chargers, and DCDC converters. Prior to this role, Gregory spent over a decade at Delphi as a Senior Energy Storage Systems Engineer, emphasizing xEV controls and algorithms for battery systems. Gregory's career began at General Motors, where as a Senior Systems Engineer, expertise was developed in EV and HEV battery pack systems, including system architecture and control electronics design. Gregory holds a BSEP degree from The Ohio State University.
