Jan Persson

Jan Persson has a background in Applied Physics and Electrical Engineering, with a Master of Science degree from Linköping University. Jan worked at Sonceboz SA as an R&D Manager leading a team for hardware and software development in automotive and medical devices. Jan also has experience at BorgWarner as the Head of Operations and HR Manager. Currently, Jan holds roles at drivetek ag as the COO and CTO, focusing on R&D for advanced control algorithms for motors in harsh environments. Jan completed a PhD at Ecole Polytechnique Fédérale de Lausanne with a thesis on standstill position detection combined with sensorless control of synchronous motors.
