John Barlage is an experienced engineering professional with a career spanning several decades in the automotive and drivetrain industries. Since September 2004, John has held multiple leadership roles at BorgWarner, currently serving as the Director of Product Strategy for the Portfolio Strategy Team, as well as for PowerDrive Systems and TorqTransfer Systems. Prior positions at BorgWarner include Product Business Director and Chief Engineer for Applications Engineering, specializing in TorqTransfer Systems. Before joining BorgWarner, John worked at GKN Driveline as Senior Manager of Advanced Applications and began a career at General Motors as a Senior Project Engineer and Project Engineer. John holds a Bachelor of Science degree in Engineering from Michigan State University and completed high school at the American School of the Hague.
