Mitsuru Ishihara has extensive experience in the automotive industry, particularly in power drive systems and electrified vehicle architectures. Currently serving as a Technical Program Lead at BorgWarner since July 2008, Mitsuru holds additional roles as Engineering Manager and has previously worked as a Senior Staff Engineer and Staff Engineer focusing on hybrid and electric vehicle integration, as well as advanced hydraulic controls within transmission systems. Prior to BorgWarner, Mitsuru was employed at Aisin AW (USA) as a Hybrid Application Engineer from February 2006 to July 2008. Mitsuru holds a degree from the Rochester Institute of Technology.
