Ravi Kumar

Ravi Kumar serves as the Head of Electronics Hardware Engineering at BorgWarner in Bangalore since October 2020, where responsibilities include overseeing technology roadmaps and capability development in collaboration with Product Line Chief Engineers. Prior to this role, Ravi Kumar was a Senior Engineering Manager at Delphi Technologies from April 2010 to October 2020, focusing on product strategies and application engineering for internal combustion engine products in the Indian market. Ravi Kumar's earlier experience includes positions as a Competency Leader and Technical Leader at Delphi Automotive Systems, as well as a Technical Leader at General Electric Aircraft Engines, where expertise involved design and analysis of aircraft engine components. Ravi Kumar began a career in the Defense Research & Development Organization as a Scientist B, specializing in mechanical design of actuation components. Educational qualifications include a Certified Corporate Director from the Institute of Directors, an Executive MBA from the Indian Institute of Management, Calcutta, and an M.Eng. in Mechanical Engineering from PSG College of Technology.
