Richard Pridgen

Richard Pridgen is an experienced professional with a strong background in quality management, process engineering, and operations within the manufacturing sector. Currently serving as Quality Manager at BorgWarner since July 2015, Richard develops and implements quality control standards and oversees continuous improvement initiatives at the Bellwood plant. Previous roles at BorgWarner include Product Line Manager and Senior Area Manager, where Richard led engineering efforts and managed significant revenues in numerous departments. With experience at SunCoke Energy, International Paper, and ExxonMobil, Richard has a proven track record in project management, process optimization, and environmental sustainability. Richard holds dual Bachelor of Science degrees in Chemical and Biomolecular Engineering and Pulp and Paper Science and Engineering from North Carolina State University and has furthered education at the University of Illinois Urbana-Champaign. Additionally, Richard is certified as a Six Sigma Black Belt.
