Sara Mohon, PhD, is currently a Systems Staff Engineer at BorgWarner Inc. in the Corporate Advanced Engineering group, focusing on developing control strategies for electrified systems. With approximately ten years of automotive research experience, Sara has a strong background in battery testing and hardware-in-the-loop (HIL) testing. They founded the BorgWarner Propulsion Technical Center Women in Science and Engineering group and have been involved in innovative projects, including building a new electric hybrid powertrain integration laboratory at Clemson University. Sara holds a PhD in Automotive Engineering from Clemson University, along with prior degrees in physics and automotive engineering.
