Sergio Perez Perez

Sergio Perez Perez serves as the Head of Systems Development Engineering at BorgWarner since December 2015, overseeing the BW Electronics Development Center in Vigo, Spain, with a focus on high voltage air and coolant heaters for hybrid and battery electric vehicles. Prior roles at BorgWarner include Lead Electronics Engineer and Lead Engineer Electronics, where responsibilities ranged from leading design efforts to facilitating technical customer interactions and supporting engineering teams. Previously, Sergio led the R&D Department at Esinor Sistemas SL, developing projects related to energy efficiency and renewable energies, and has experience as an R&D Engineer and university lecturer. Educational credentials include a degree in Industrial Engineering from Universidade de Vigo, with additional qualifications in HVAC, energy sustainability, occupational safety, and ISO standards.
