Shaur Reng Foo is an experienced engineering professional with a strong background in powertrain electronics and electrification. Currently serving as Chief Engineer at BorgWarner Inc. since October 2020, Shaur leads the Singapore Design Engineering Centre for PowerDrive Systems, overseeing advanced and product development for engine controllers, inverters, and power switches, as well as managing the engineering budget. Previously, Shaur held the position of Chief Engineer at Delphi Technologies from November 2017 to October 2020, where similar responsibilities for powertrain electronics and electrification were undertaken. Shaur's career started at Delphi in 2005, progressing from Technical Manager to various roles focused on controller design and regional engineering management. Shaur holds a degree in Electrical Engineering from the National University of Singapore, completed in 2000.
