Shirley Yu

Shirley Yu is an experienced HR professional currently serving as the HR Director for Asia Pacific at BorgWarner Inc. since March 2007, overseeing HR and safety for the BorgWarner Ningbo Campus, which comprises three wholly-owned foreign enterprise plants. Additionally, Shirley holds the title of HR Director for China, Japan, and Thailand at BorgWarner Turbo Systems since January 2015. Prior to joining BorgWarner, Shirley worked as an HR Manager at BP from 2000 to 2007, an HR Advisor at ExxonMobil from March 1997 to February 2000, and a Secretary for the Sales & Marketing Director at Citic Group from March 1996 to February 1997. Shirley began a career in administration as an Executive Assistant to the General Manager at Haipeng Import & Export Company from July 1992 to February 1996. Academically, Shirley holds an MBA from the University of Canberra (2000-2002) and a Bachelor's degree in Pricing from Beijing Technology and Business University (1988-1992).
