Steven Kaufman

Steven Kaufman is an experienced engineering leader with a robust background in validation and test development, currently serving as the REM Validation Engineering Supervisor at BorgWarner since December 2022. In this role, Steven oversees a team focused on the eDrive Product Line, enhancing automotive applications through rigorous testing methodologies. Prior to BorgWarner, Steven held various leadership positions at Aptiv, including Validation Engineering Group Manager and Global Validation Test Development Steering Team Leader, where responsibilities included managing teams, driving process improvements, and ensuring timely project delivery. Experience at JDSU and Delphi further solidified Steven's expertise in validation for automotive systems, including hardware automation and advanced active safety technologies. Educational training was completed at ITT Technical Institute.
