Steven Parent

Steven Parent is a seasoned professional with extensive experience in business development and operations within the electric vehicle sector. Currently serving as Senior Manager of Business Development & Operations at BorgWarner since October 2017, Steven oversees sales and technical center operations focused on Power Electronics for the US Electric Vehicle Markets. Prior to this role, Steven held various positions at Sevcon from 1995 to 2017, culminating in the role of Vice President & General Manager, where responsibilities included managing US operations for control products in hybrid and electric vehicle markets. Steven's experience also includes project management and engineering roles at Sikorsky, where responsibilities involved the design and development of manufacturing methods for helicopter production. Steven holds a Bachelor of Science in Mechanical and Electrical Engineering from Worcester Polytechnic Institute and has furthered education through institutions such as the American Management Association, Northeastern University, and Worcester State University.
