Tim Tobbe

Tim Tobbe has over 25 years of experience within the engineering sector, primarily at BorgWarner. Currently serving as Manufacturing Engineering Manager since 2008, Tim has effectively led a team of 14 engineers and technicians while aligning operations with market conditions and facilitating plant growth through new equipment integration. Prior roles at BorgWarner include Mfg Engineering Manager and Product Engineer, where Tim was instrumental in launching innovative products such as plastic tensioners and the first production Variable Camshaft Timing device for General Motors. Tim's career began as a Manufacturing Engineer with Borg Warner Automotive, where the introduction of high-volume assembly machinery was a key achievement. Tim holds a Bachelor's degree in Mechanical Engineering from the Rochester Institute of Technology and an Associate's degree in Mechanical Engineering from the State University of New York College of Agriculture and Technology at Morrisville.
