Dwarka Simili is currently the Plant General Manager and PDS India Operations at BorgWarner, where they lead the development of electric propulsion systems and cultural transformation initiatives. Previously, they held significant positions at General Motors from 2010 to 2018, managing teams focused on electric drive controls and advancing motor control algorithms for production vehicles. Before that, Dwarka worked as a Controls Engineer at Caterpillar Inc. and served as a Project Assistant at the Indian Institute of Science, contributing to UAV control systems. Dwarka holds a Master of Science in Aerospace Engineering from the Illinois Institute of Technology and a Bachelor's degree in Electrical and Electronics Engineering from B. M. S. College of Engineering.
