Shane Stephenson is a Senior Full Stack Developer and Tech Lead at Borrowell, a role they have held since 2021. From 2016 to 2017, Shane was a Cybersecurity Intern at Fidelity Investments, where they created time saving value for current and future team members by creating operational documentation and workflow diagrams for the new Security Information and Event Management project (SIEM). Shane also performed critical SIEM analysis in cybersecurity areas such as firewall, VPN, anti-virus, IPD/IDS and active directory. From 2013 to 2014, Shane was a Bar Team Member at Macdonald Hotels & Resorts, and from 2009 to 2013, they were an Assistant Pro at Fermoy Golf Club.
Shane Stephenson obtained a Bachelor of Science in Business Information Systems from University College Cork between 2013 and 2017. Shane has since obtained three additional certifications, including Microservices with Node JS and React from Udemy in November 2020, Easy to Advanced Data Structures from Udemy in April 2020, and Microsoft 365 Certified: Developer Associate from Microsoft in October 2020.
