Yathor Oo has a diverse work experience spanning from 2011 to present. In 2011, they were a Research Intern at the University of Toronto's Dr. Tak Mak Laboratory, Dept. of Medical Biophysics, where they studied the mechanisms of a cell-size-controlling gene and its potential role in cancer, and contributed to a paper published in Cell Journal. Yathor then worked as a Server at the Donnelly Group in 2014. In 2015, they worked at Raymond James Ltd. as an Account Profile Associate and Charity Foundation Coordinator, where they produced executive reports on account-deficiencies and activities of donor-advised funds. From 2016 to 2018, they worked at CIBC as a Data Analyst, Customer Analytics & Forecasting, where they automated a previously manual process and built interactive Tableau dashboards. Since 2019, they have been working at Borrowell as a Data Engineering Manager and Data Engineer, where they used Python libraries to analyze relationships between product performance and various macro-economic variables, and wrote and deployed production-ready SQL code to create a comprehensive product-performance data library.
Yathor Oo attended McMaster University from 2010 to 2014, where they earned a Bachelor's Degree in Mathematical Science. Yathor then attended Harvard University from 2017 to 2018, where they completed a Data Science Graduate Certificate.
