Marcel Drees

Marcel Drees serves as a Senior IoT Solution Architect at Bosch Power Tools, overseeing the Shared Connectivity Platform and the development of a strategic FOTA platform since December 2020. Prior to this role, Marcel co-founded CodeBrew GmbH and worked as a Solution Architect at Daimler AG, where responsibilities included architecture and development for Edge IoT and OTA firmware updates. Earlier experience includes a position as Software Architect at T-Systems International GmbH, focusing on a used car sales platform and the migration of applications, and a dual student role at Allianz Deutschland AG, where technical leadership was provided for a vaccination scheduling tool. Marcel holds a Bachelor of Science in Wirtschaftsinformatik from Baden-Wuerttemberg Cooperative State University, obtained in 2013.
