Alexander Abele

Alexander Abele is an experienced tax professional with a significant background in tax risk management and compliance. Currently serving as the Head of Tax Risk Management & Compliance Standards at Bosch since January 2012, Abele oversees global governance functions related to wage tax, withholding tax, and direct taxes, as well as managing global tax risk. Previously, Abele held the position of Head of Tax and Foreign Trade for the ASEAN region, where responsibilities included developing an international tax team and supporting business units in tax-efficient models. Abele's earlier experience as a Tax Manager involved advisory roles in international taxation, M&A transactions, and financing group entities. Prior to Bosch, Abele worked as an International Tax Consultant at EY, focusing on M&A transactions and tax planning, and contributed to academic commentary on the Foreign Tax Act. Abele holds a High School Diploma in Economics from the University of Hohenheim.
