Amit Kale

Amit Kale is an accomplished expert in research and technology, currently serving as the Head of the Research and Technology Center at Bosch India and holding the position of Chief Scientist, focusing on AI and foundation models. With a strong background in computer vision and autonomous driving technologies, Amit has led significant projects at Bosch, including developing computer vision components for deep learning operations. Prior to Bosch, Amit worked at Siemens Corporate Research and Technology, where responsibilities included technology strategy and leading imaging programs. Amit's academic career includes a role as Assistant Research Professor at the University of Kentucky and a postdoctoral position following a PhD from the University of Maryland. Amit holds an MTech from the Indian Institute of Technology, Bombay, and a B.E. from Veermata Jijabai Technological Institute.
