Markus Bamberger currently serves as Chief Compliance Officer at Robert Bosch GmbH, overseeing the Information Security and Privacy Office since April 2020. Previously, Markus held the position of Chairman of the Board at Bosch India from June 2021 to August 2023. At Merck KGaA, From January 2014 to March 2019, Markus was the Group Compliance Officer, leading global compliance efforts across several highly regulated sectors. Prior to that, Markus was the Head of Business Field Electronic Materials within Merck's Performance Materials Division. Additional experience includes serving as President Director at PT Merck Tbk in Indonesia and various leadership roles at Merck Group from 1996 to 2008. Markus holds an MBA from Kellogg School of Management and has completed legal education in Germany.
