Thor Windbergs has extensive experience in the engineering field, primarily with Bosch from October 2000 to November 2022, where roles included System Engineer for Service Diagnose Fuel Cell, focusing on diagnostic probability analyses for fuel cell high-pressure cooling systems, and Senior Engineer for Port Fuel Injector Function Development, overseeing the modernization of testing facilities for fuel injection systems. Windbergs contributed to the implementation and maintenance of a system requirements database with IBM DOORS Next Generation in vehicle powertrain technologies and acted as a resident expert on fuel sub-systems for ethanol-flexible cold start systems. Earlier experience includes vehicle testing at BMW AG, conducting emissions tests for PZEV and SULEV standards, and a foundational role as a steam locomotive fireman with Durango & Silverton Narrow Gauge Railroad.
