Yikun Yu

Hardware Architect

Yikun Yu is a hardware architect at Bosch with a PhD and 20 years of experience in wireless systems and RF transceiver IC design. Previously, Yikun served as a research scientist at imec, where they designed a 10GHz Ultra-wideband system and significantly improved battery life. Yikun also worked as a principal scientist at NXP Semiconductors, where they developed the world's first 77GHz all-CMOS automotive radar, contributing to a groundbreaking product presented at the Consumer Electronics Show in 2015 and 2016. Yikun's academic credentials include a BSc from Tsinghua University, an MSc with honors from Technische Universiteit Delft, and a PhD from Technische Universiteit Eindhoven.
