Ari Hertz

Senior User Researcher

Arielle Hertz is a Senior User Researcher at Bose Corporation, leading user research for various health projects since March 2019. Prior to this role, Arielle served as a Graduate Research Assistant and Doctoral Student at George Mason University, focusing on trust in automation within the Human Factors and Applied Cognition program while contributing to research at the HeART Lab. Experience also includes positions as a Research Associate at Mandell Horwitz Consulting LLC, where responsibilities involved human factors testing and regulatory submissions, and an internship at Apple, applying user-centered design principles. Earlier roles include coordinating the Cognitive Aging Lab at the University of Virginia and interning at the Smithsonian Institution. Arielle holds a PhD and MA in Psychology: Human Factors and Applied Cognition from George Mason University and dual Bachelor's degrees in Cognitive Science and Psychology from the University of Virginia.
